Charles Edward Utt, of Jacobs Logtown Road, Lisbon, died Thursday, November 28, 2013 at the Salem Community Hospital. He was 73.

Born in Hundred, West Virginia, November 5, 1940, he was a son of the late Anthony E. and Mary A. Horner Utt.

For 30 years he worked as a truck driver for Murray Trucking.

He is survived by his wife, Ethel Mae Barr Utt, whom he married February 22, 1963.

There are three sons, Clifford Utt, and his wife Jackie, of Glenmoor, Edward Utt, and his wife Nicole, of Wellsville, and John Utt, and his wife Amy, of Lisbon. He also leaves 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Other survivors include 2 sisters, Pearl Huggins of Warren, Ohio and Sarah “Dolly” Lemon of Fairmont, West Virginia, a brother Bill Utt, and his wife Lenora, of Wileyville, West Virginia, and a brother-in-law, Clem Goddard, and his wife Sally, of Lisbon.

He was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 4 sisters.

Friends may visit Monday evening at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 5 to 8 p.m. Evangelist Will Montgomery will conduct a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Spring Grove Cemetery in East Liverpool.

Following the service, family and friends will gather at the Dawson Family Center for fellowship.
