Victor Anthony Giovenco, of Lisbon, passed away suddenly Tuesday, November 11, 2014. He was 63.

Born in East Liverpool, October 18, 1951, he was a son of the late Victor J. and Genevieve R. Maskaluk Giovenco. A lifetime resident of this area, he was a graduate of Beaver Local High School in 1970.

He recently retired from Giant Eagle in Boardman where he worked as a meat cutter for the last 25 years. Previously, he had worked at the former Crucible Steel Company. He loved the outdoors, where he would enjoy gardening and hunting.

His wife, Karen L. Giovenco, survives at home. The couple married April 12, 1975. Two daughters survive as well, Vickie Ketchum, and her husband Jarrod, of Lisbon, and Jackie Giovenco of Lisbon. He also leaves behind two grandchildren, Nicholas and Jackson Ketchum, and a sister, Linda R. Nicolli, and her husband Ronald, of Florida.

Rev. Thomas Adkins of the Campground Community Church will conduct a funeral service at The Dawson Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. Friday. Friends may visit Thursday evening where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Following the service, friends and family will gather at the Dawson Family Center for fellowship.
