Obituary for Martha Jane Winwood (Daugherty)

Martha Jane Winwood, who was born in East Liverpool, passed away at the Sacred Heart Hospital in Miramar Beach, FL on Tuesday evening, January 20, 2015. Martha, who was 73, was a resident of Hubbard, OH.

A daughter of the late Earl and Martha Stephens Daugherty, she was born on July 23, 1941. She was a homemaker and a member of the Hubbard Church of the Nazarene.

Martha had been a devoted mother to her children, especially after the sudden death of her first husband, George Allen Pisarsky on September 14, 1979. She later married Paul Winwood on November 23, 1991, he survives her at home.

Also surviving are a daughter and two sons: Connie Randolph and her husband, Clifford, of Salineville; Brian Pisarsky and his wife, Michelle, of Northport, AL; and Richard Pisarsky and his wife, Brenda, of Wellsville. Another daughter, Vickie Glover, passed away on December 11, 2011.

Nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren survive, as well as three sisters and three brothers: Marlene Rogers of Newell; Elaine Cornell and her husband, Ronald, of Chester; Loretta McCoy and her husband, Ed, of Charleston, SC; Francis Daugherty and his wife, Marge, of Tampa, FL; Richard Daugherty and his wife, Nancy, of Shepherdstown, WV; and Robert Daugherty of Baltimore. Numerous nieces and nephews survive as well.

Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home on Sunday, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Services will take place at 1:30 p.m. Monday, with Pastor W. Michael Byus of the church officiating. Martha will be buried at Highlandtown Cemetery in Highlandtown, OH.
