Obituary for Bruce Powell

EAST LIVERPOOL – Bruce A. Powell, of East Liverpool, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2015 at the Orchards of East Liverpool. He was 73.

Born in East Liverpool, January 11, 1942, he was a son of the late Kenneth Powell and Irene Roberts Smith. A resident of this area all his life, he worked for over 30 years at the Hall China Company and attended Grace Baptist Temple. A giving man, he contributed to many charities for many years.

He is survived by his two daughters, Teresa Pagniano, and her husband Richard, of Wooster, and Christina Green, and her husband Carl, of East Liverpool.

There are six grandchildren, Stephanie Jo Andric (Lewis), Christopher Green (Stacy), Shaun Green (Saira), Nathan Eric Atkins (Stephanie), Cody Green, and Darian Green, along with six great-grandchildren, Mykah Andric, Nathan Atkins, Jr., McKenzie Atkins, Mason Green, Cali Green, and Gannon Andric.

Other survivors include two brothers, Kenneth “Lee” Powell of North Carolina, and James Powell of East Liverpool, a half-sister Anna Fender, as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a step-father Delmar Smith and a sister Cheryl Fowler.

Private family services will be conducted at the Dawson Funeral Home.
