Obituary for Gary Allen Murray

GARY ALLEN MURRAY, 52

STEUBENVILLE – Gary Allen Murray, East Liverpool native and son of Mary Meanor Murray and the late Robert A. “Hack" Murray, passed away at 4:45 Sunday afternoon, May 17, 2015 at the Cleveland Clinic. He was 52.

Born on June 1, 1962, he had spent his lifetime in this area and had worked in construction at one time and loved being outdoors.

In addition to his mother, Mary, of Chester, he leaves behind a daughter, Kaitlynn Murray of Steubenville, along with his brother, David Murray and his wife, Brenda, of East Liverpool. A surviving are a half-brother, James Murray and his wife, Debbie, of Tennessee, and a half-sister, Kristin Murray Harrison of Warren, OH.

Pastor Mark Blakeley of Wellsville First Christian Church will officiate at a funeral service to be held at the Dawson Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. Thursday. Burial will take place at Locust Hill Cemetery.

Friends may visit with Gary’s family on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m.
