Obituary for Beverly Johnson (Adkins)

Former East Liverpool resident Beverly Blaine Adkins Johnson passed away at Billings Clinic in Montana, at 3:45 p.m. Friday, September 25, 2015 at the age of 71. Born in East Liverpool on March 10, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Autis and Wilma Wilson Adkins.

She was a devoted homemaker, raising her children in this area. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Beverly married Harry Johnson, Jr. on March 11, 2004, and they moved to Billings, Montana to be closer to her daughter there.

She is survived by two daughters and one son: Reta Smith and her husband, Ron, of Billings, MT; Wilma Owen and her husband, Jeffrey, of Pocono Summit, PA; and Robert W. Thomas of Akron. There are five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are three sisters: Barbara White and her husband, John, of Clearwater, FL; Carolyn Darr and her husband, Benjamin, of Pennsylvania; and Donna Camel of West Virginia. A brother, Autis E. Adkins, also preceded her in death.

Friends may visit with the family at the Dawson Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, services to be conducted at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Friday. Burial will take place at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
