Obituary for James Earl Boley

JAMES EARL BOLEY, 61

WELLSVILLE – James Earl Boley, of Hillcrest Road in Wellsville, passed away at 5 p.m. Friday, May 20, 2016, while working on his farm in Salineville. “Earl”, as he was known to all, was 61.

A son of the late James Boley and Elizabeth Mack Boley Barber, Earl was born in Carrollton, OH, on September 25, 1954.

He had spent his life in this area and was a member of the Living Well Church.

He worked as an equipment operator at Tidewater Logistics in Steubenville, and had been a glazer at Homer Laughlin China Company at one time.

Surviving him at home is his wife, the former Patricia “Pat” Loyd Congo, whom he married on July 31, 1995.

Also surviving are two daughters and a son: Amber Boley of, TN; Kelly Kniszek and her husband, Anthony, of Steubenville; and Herb Boley and his wife, Traci, of Ocala, FL, as well as a step-daughter, Tracey Forman and her husband, Charles, of Dacula, GA, and two step-sons: Adam Congo of East Liverpool; and Kevin Congo and his wife, Emily, also of East Liverpool.

Earl also leaves behind twelve grandchildren, as well as six sisters: Mary McClure of Petersburg, WV; Millie Swearington and her husband, Chuck, of Fountain, FL; Marjorie Beckwith and her husband, Richard, also of Petersburg; Linda Cassidy of Salineville; Diane Gatzemeyer and her husband, Gerald, of Flint, MI; and Connie Wilson and her husband, Tom, also of Salineville. Two brothers also survive: Jeff Boley and his wife, Deanna of East Liverpool, and Paul Boley and his wife, Gretchen, of Wellsville.

Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home on Tuesday, where the family will be present from 11 a.m. until noon.

Services will take place at the funeral home at noon on Tuesday, with Pastor Dirk Hall of the church officiating.
