Obituary for Marjorie Hartt Tucker (Hartt)



East Liverpool, Ohio- Marjorie “Mudge” Hartt Tucker, 92, of Perry Avenue passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 7:35 p.m. at the Orchards of East Liverpool following a lengthy illness.

Born August 21, 1923 at East Liverpool, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late May Hartt. A lifetime area resident, she was the Vice-President of Electronic Systems Products. A WWII veteran, serving with the US Marines, she was a member of the Womens Marine Association. She also was graduated from East Liverpool High School in 1941, spent two years at Kent State University, and was a member of the East Liverpool High School Alumni Association.

Preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Tucker, whom she married July 30, 1945, on July 13, 2012.

She is survived by one daughter, Maureen Davis of East Liverpool; one grandson; and two great granddaughters, Audrey Tucker and Addison Tucker.

She was also preceded by two sisters, Shirley Hartt and Murial Crowder.

The Tri-State Veterans Burial Group will provide Military Honors graveside at Riverview Cemetery on Friday at 10:00 a.m. along with a service officiated by Pastor Dirk Hall of The Living Well Church of Wellsville, Ohio
