Obituary for Brenda Nell Reynolds (Fielder)

Brenda Nell (Fielder) Reynolds, 56, of East Liverpool, went to be with the Lord at 2:00 a.m., Monday, September 19, 2016, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. She had fought the good fight and remained faithful throughout her lengthy illness.

A daughter of late Lloyd C. and Joan Ann Dorsey Fielder, Brenda was born on September 1, 1960 in East Liverpool. She was raised by her maternal grandparents, the late William and Mabel Dorsey.

She was a 1979 graduate of East Liverpool High School and relocated to South Carolina and then to Arizona for a short time as a personal care aide before returning to East Liverpool. She was a compassionate and dedicated caregiver, and had spent many years in the health care profession until her own health declined.

Brenda was a faithful and involved member of the Maranatha Chapel in Glenmoor, where she appreciated the fellowship with other members whom she considered her spiritual family. She enjoyed organizing and participating in social activities at Riverview Towers and Highland Apartments where she resided.

Preceding her in death on August 2, 1998 was her husband, Myrl Reynolds. They had been married on June 3, 1989.

She leaves behind her sister, Lisa Dorsey of Atlanta, as well as a brother, Lloyd Fielder, of East Liverpool. Another brother, Lance Fielder, passed away in 2005. Also surviving are her stepchildren, Heather and Myrl Reynolds. Brenda will also be greatly missed by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home on Thursday, where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.

Services will take place at the funeral home Friday at 1:30 p.m., with Pastor David Paulovich of the church officiating.

Brenda will be buried alongside her husband at New Cumberland Cemetery, followed by a time of continued fellowship at the Dawson Family Center.
