FLORENCE, SOUTH CAROLINA - Nathalie Davis Reich passed away in Florence, South Carolina on December 23, 2016. She was born in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania to Benjamin and Esther Davis and she grew up in East Liverpool. Nathalie lived most of her adult life in Parkersburg, West Virginia, where she and her husband raised their family, operated a business and were active in the community.

In 2012, she relocated to Centerville, Ohio and then moved to Florence, South Carolina in 2015. She attended The Ohio State University and received her Bachelor of Science in Education. She taught in the Pittsburgh school system prior to her marriage to David, her late husband to whom she was married for 52 years. She was an avid bridge player, active in numerous community organizations, a member of B’nai Israel Temple and past president of the Temple Sisterhood.

Nathalie was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Survivors include her son, Raymond F. Reich of Florence, SC; son-in-law, Richard Lee of Centerville, Ohio; five grandchildren: Erik Elsass (Amy), Centerville, Ohio; Matthew Reich, Florence, SC; Mark Elsass, Cincinnati, Ohio; Mindy Reich Smith, (Jason) Irmo, SC; Brent Elsass (Jessica), Columbus, Ohio; and nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Reich, and by her daughter, Bonnie Lee.

Private services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 27 at Riverview Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the American Heart Association or the charity of one’s choice.

The Dawson Funeral Home has been entrusted with local arrangements.
