Obituary for Shari Welther (Welther)

Shari “Duke” Welther Burchett, of East Liverpool, has gone home to be with her Lord, Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at East Liverpool City Hospital at 6:53 p.m. She was 23.

Born in Youngstown, January 21, 1993, she was a daughter of Mary Burchett Barnhart of Glenmoor. Shari was a 2010 graduate of Beaver Local High School and had attended Kent State University in East Liverpool, majoring in psychology. Shari was an STNA at the Alley Senior Care in Lisbon and she was also a licensed hairdresser.

There are two daughters, Alice and Abigail Burchett of Calcutta, one sister, Bobbi Wilson of Calcutta, four brothers, Anthony Burchett (Stephanie), of Sidney, Maine, Jacob Burchett (Gloria), of Bronx, NY, Dalton Wilson of Glenmoor and Ronald “RJ” Welther of E. Palestine.

Shari is also survived by her aunt who raised her, Billie Burchett of E. Palestine, her favorite uncle, Timothy Burchett, of Narragansett, RI, her fiancé, Brady Beasley of East Liverpool, as well as her maternal grandmother, Mary Jo Logue Burchett of Calcutta. There are also four nieces, Kira, Emma, Joscelyn and Rachel Burchett.

Preceding her was her maternal grandfather William Burchett.

Dr. Pastor Bill Wagner of the Pleasant Heights Baptist Church will conduct a funeral service at 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Shari will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Burial will be at Locust Hill Cemetery.
