Obituary for Paul A. Dye

PAUL A. DYE, 67

EAST LIVERPOOL – Paul A. Dye, 67, passed away suddenly on Monday evening, March 13, 2017, at his home on Stagecoach Road in East Liverpool following a lengthy illness.

Born April 21, 1949 in St. Mary’s, West Virginia, he was a son of the late Harold and Gladys Poynter Dye. He had made East Liverpool his home since his marriage to the former Lyda King on August 26, 1972.

A Methodist by faith, he loved to fish and play golf.

Paul had been a shift supervisor at Ergon oil refinery (formerly Quaker State), last working in 2010.

His wife, Lyda, survives him at home, they were married on August 26, 1972.

He is also survived by a brother, Leon Dye and his wife Kem, of St. Mary’s.

A funeral service will be held at the Dawson Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Friday with Pastor Norm Eckert of the Beechwood Free Methodist Church. Paul will be laid to rest at Odd Fellows Cemetery in St. Mary’s.

Friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Following the service family and friends will gather at the Dawson Family Center for a time of fellowship.
