Obituary for Kimberly Ann Garren (Garren)

KIMBERLY ANN GARREN, 55

EAST LIVERPOOL – Kimberly Ann Garren, of Essex of Salem #2, died at on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at 2:05 a.m. in Salem. Born in East Liverpool on July 19, 1961, she was 55.

A daughter of the late Willian and Leona Nally Garren, Kim was raised in this area and was a member of Longs Run Presbyterian Church in East Liverpool. A graduate of the Robert Bycroft School, she had been a loyal worker at Employment Development, Inc. Central. Kim was also active in the Special Olympics as well as the Adult Senior Center in Lisbon.

A half-sister, Judy Urtecho, survives her in Florida. There are also several cousins and her advocate Jami, of Lisbon.

In addition to her parents Kim was preceded by her aunt who raised her, Velma VanLehn.

Friends may visit with the family from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Dawson Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday with Rev. Dr. Stephen Cramer of the church.

Kim will be buried near her family at Locust Hill Cemetery.
