William W. Irwin, Jr., 82

THE VILLAGES, FL – William “Bill” W. Irwin, formerly of East Liverpool, and most recently of The Villages in Florida, passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2017 following a lengthy illness. Bill was 82.

Born in East Liverpool, March 16, 1935, he was a son of the late Mary Katherine Tearney Irwin and William W. Irwin, Sr. He was a Korean War veteran with the U.S. Army serving in Germany.

Bill was a graduate of East Liverpool High School and continued his education at
The University of Mount Union. Bill worked as Superintendent at the former Potters Supply and was a member of Holy Trinity Parish at St. Aloysius Church, as well as the Ceramic Engineers Club.

His wife, Mary “Mollie” Nelson Irwin, survives at home. He also is survived by his two daughters, Tracy Clemmer, of Zephyrhills, FL, and Melissa Ward, and her husband Joe, of Pataskala, OH. Bill also leaves behind four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister, Mary Irwin of Maryland.

Fr. Peter Haladej of Holy Trinity Parish will conduct a graveside service Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at the Riverview Cemetery.
