RALPH A. APA, Jr OBITUARY

East Liverpool, Ohio- Ralph A. Apa, Jr., 79, of Winston Drive passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at 9:00 p.m. at his residence following a six year battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.

Born January 30, 1938 at Olean, New York, he was a son of the late Ralph A. and Josephine Tucci Apa, Sr.

A veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Korea, he moved to this area in 1997 to work for US Airways as a mechanic. He was a graduate of Olean High School class of 1956.

He is survived by his wife, Terry Thompson Apa, whom he married October 18, 1969, at home. One daughter, Jill Elizabeth Apa of Portsmouth, New Hampshire; and one son, Ralph A. Apa III of Kennesaw, Georgia.

Also surviving is one sister, Frances Apa of Sacramento, California; and one brother, Michael Apa of West Chicago, Illinois.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Fred Apa in 2012.

Friends may call at the Dawson Funeral Home in East Liverpool on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Fr. Peter Haladej of Holy Trinity Parish will officiate a service at 2:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Immediately following the service family & friends will gather at the Dawson Family Center.
