Obituary for Denise L. "Dennie" Brandt (Paisley)

Denise L. “Dennie” Brandt, 73

WELLSVILLE – Denise L. “Dennie” Brandt, of Wellsville, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at the Hospice House in Poland. She was 73.

Born in East Liverpool, August 7, 1943, she was a daughter of the late William Paisley and Freda Steffen Paisley.

A member of the Wellsville High School Class of 1961, she was a member of the Riverside Presbyterian Church in Wellsville where she was active and especially enjoyed the Pie Ladies Group. She was a member of the Arts Club in Wellsville and recently enjoyed meeting with her friends for lunch and working on coloring books.

For many years, Dennie worked as a dental assistant at the office of Dr. Turner in East Liverpool. She later worked for Valley Neurological in Hopewell until her retirement.

She is survived by her husband, Terry Ray Brandt, Sr., at home. The couple recently celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary earlier this month. She also leaves behind two sons, Terry Ray “TR” Brandt, Jr. of Florida, and Jeffrey Cameron Brandt of Dublin, Ohio. There are four grandchildren: Tate, McCain, Jacob and Cameron Brandt.

She will also be sadly missed by her sisters: Rebecca “Becky” Paisley-Tobin and her husband, David Tobin, II, of East Liverpool, Susan Paisley-Jones of Largo, Florida and Barbara Paisley-McElheney of Irvine, California, as well as many nieces and nephews: Louis Tobin, David Tobin, III, Jamie Jones, Megan McElheney, Sean McElheney, Patrick Brandt, Shantelle Brandt, Lexie Brandt, and Troy Rhoades.

A funeral service will be conducted Monday at 2:00 p.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home where friends may visit three hours prior to the service.

Burial will be at Yellow Creek Cemetery.

Following the service, friends and family will gather at the Yellow Creek Church for fellowship.
