WALTER E. ALLEN III, 30

SALEM – Walter E. Allen III, 30, who was born in Akron on September 30, 1987, died Monday evening, January 15, 2018 at the Salem Regional Medical Center.

Walter had resided at the Sunrise Homes in Lisbon for many years and was active in the Creative Learning Workshop.

He is the son of Kimberly Powell of Steubenville, and Walter E. Allen Jr. of Wellsville.

A graduate of the Robert Bycroft School, Walter loved all things sports related.

Walter is survived by his sisters, Kathryn Allen of Toledo, Constance Paulino of Wellsville and Sara Powell of Steubenville, along with his six brothers: Ben Powell, Sam Powell and Daniel Powell, all of Newell; Marques Allen and Malcolm Allen, both of Charlotte, NC, and Micheal Portis of Steubenville, as well as his maternal grandmother, Mickie Barrett, also of Newell.

Pastor Greg Pennington will conduct a funeral service on Monday at 3:30 p.m. at the Creative Learning Workshop – Sunrise Homes, 38655 Saltwell Road, Lisbon, Ohio 44432.

The family will be present to receive friends beginning at 3 p.m. Monday at the Creative Learning Workshop.
