Marvin Leroy Stewart, 82

EAST LIVERPOOL – Marvin Leroy Stewart, of East Liverpool, passed away Thursday afternoon, February 15, 2018 at Trinity Medical Center. He was 82.

Born in East Liverpool, June 19, 1935, he was a son of the late Thomas and Elsie F. Hines Stewart. A resident of this area all his life, he was an assistant manager at the former Loblaw’s Grocery Store at one time. He had also worked at Kroger’s and the former Crucible Steel Company.

He is survived by his daughter, Tammie L. Hill of East Liverpool and three sons, Terry Stewart and his wife, Karen, of East Liverpool, Mark A. Stewart of Lisbon, and Marvin “Jimmy” Stewart of East Liverpool, all of East Liverpool. There are 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Also surviving is a sister, Vallie Fiorello of Canton and a brother, Richard “Rich” Stewart and his wife, Kayleen, of East Liverpool.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Bertha Adkins and Martha Adkins, as well as a brother, Thomas Stewart, a half-brother Lester Stewart and a half-sister Mildred Calhoun.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Dawson Funeral Home. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery.
