BARBARA LYNN YOUNGBLOOD, 55

SALINEVILLE – Barbara Lynn Youngblood, 55, passed away at 3:35 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2018 at West Penn Hospital following a lengthy illness. She had been a lifelong area resident but most recently resided in Salineville.

A daughter of the late William Robert and Carlene Stone Beckwith, she was born in East Liverpool on December 9, 1962. Barbara was a graduate of Stanton High School in 1980.

She was a U.S. Navy veteran, and had worked in customer service for several different companies throughout her life. Barbara belonged to Christ Temple Church in Irondale, Ohio.

Surviving is her daughter, Amber Maxwell and her husband James, of East Liverpool. She was preceded in death by a son, Steven Youngblood.

There are three sisters: Joyce Beckwith of Baltimore, Maryland; Carla Crooms and her husband, George, of Salineville, and Angela Lampkin and her husband, Daniel, of Atlanta. Two brothers survive as well, Richard Beckwith and his wife, Marge, of Petersburg, West Virginia, and Cornelius Beckwith and his wife, Consuelo, also of Salineville. There are six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her son, Barbara was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Beckwith and Jeffrey Beckwith.

Visitation will be held at the Dawson Funeral Home on Tuesday, where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.

Pastor Darren Rogers will officiate at a service to be held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Spring Hill Cemetery.
