Obituary for Lawrence Dale Beagle

Lawrence Dale Beagle, 77

SALEM – Lawrence Dale Beagle, 77, formerly of East Liverpool, passed away Tuesday April 3, 2018 at 4:20 a.m. at the Courtyard of Lexington following a lengthy illness.

Born in East Liverpool, September 8, 1940, he was a son of the late Ernest Beagle and Mollie Hanlon Beagle Schwartz. A member of the Salineville High School Class of 1959, Dale was in the US Army from 1962 to 1964.

He had been with the former Crucible Steel Company for 18 years before retiring from the American Steel Foundry. Dale then worked for his son-in-law Richard Wilk at SCI Inc. in Columbiana.

Dale is survived by his two daughters, Teresa Wilk, and her husband Richard of Columbiana, and Tracy McCoy of East Liverpool. He is also survived by one sister, Ruby Persutti of Alliance. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Lyman and Wayne Beagle.

There are four grandchildren, Cheyenne Kotas, and her husband Ben, Savannah Wilk, Cameron and Collin McCoy. There is one great-grandson Elliot Kotas.

Pastor Larry Paxson will conduct a service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Dawson Funeral Home. Friends may visit at the funeral home Friday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. Dale will be buried in Columbiana County Memorial Park where the Tri-State Veterans Burial group will accord full military honors.
