Bertha “Diane” Wiley, 67

AKRON, OH – , Bertha “Diane” Wiley of Forbes Road, Wellsville, passed away at 1:47 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at the Akron City Hospital. She was 67.

Born in Canton, Ohio, April 28, 1951, she was a daughter of the late Hayward “Larry” and Freda “Patty” Rohrbaugh Tolley. A graduate of Stanton Local High School, she was an active member of the Bible Baptist Church in Wellsville.

Diane was not only a homemaker, but had been a waitress at Hoge’s Restaurant cheerfully serving customers for over 13 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Bernard Wiley on December 29, 1991. She was also preceded in death by a brother Hayward D. Tolley, Jr.

Diane, who loved spending time with her family and being outdoors, is survived by her two daughters: Vanessa MacDonald, and her husband Doug, of Lisbon, and Kendra Wiley, and her fiancé Tim, of Toledo. Three grandsons survive as well, Christian, Jacob and Matthew. A niece and several great and great-great nieces and nephews also survive.

Friends may visit Saturday afternoon at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 1 to 2 p.m. Pastor Nick Timms of the church will conduct a funeral service Saturday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Family and friends will gather at the Bible Baptist Church following the service for a continued time of fellowship. Burial will be at Spring Hill Cemetery.
