NEW CUMBERLAND, WV-Eleanor June Gillespie, 82, passed away early Saturday morning, May 26, 2018 at her residence.

Born August 23, 1935 in Hanover Township, PA, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Georgie Rizor Steele.

June was member of Midland Christian Assembly and former member of East Liverpool Women’s Aglow for more than 20 years.

Survivors include her husband, Jackie Lee “Jack” Gillespie, whom she married September 4, 1953; three daughters, Lynette Martin (Tim) of Huntersville, NC, Sandy Pittinger (Pete) of Beggs, OK and Heather Clutter (Pat) of Calcutta, OH; six grandchildren, Shannon Gillespie, Gabrielle Martin, Jonathan Clutter, Julia Clutter, Jillian Clutter and Ella Clutter; 3 great-granchildren, Devin, Madison and Gracyn and one great-great grandson, Henry; three sisters, Marjorie Skeens, Evelyn Steele and Jeanette Brown and a brother, Donald Steele (Millie).

Services are planned for 1:00 pm Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at the Dawson Funeral Home with Pastor William Anzevino officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 11 am to 1 pm at the funeral home on Wednesday.

Burial will take place in Locust Hill Cemetery.
