Condolence From: Deanna Anderson
Condolence: Wendy, Katie and Marc, you have Jim Stride and my deepest sympathy. Jerry was one on a kind. He did more for tennis in the Ohio area than any one person. He would be on the phone so much getting people together for tennis, tournaments, jr leagues or mixed leagues. I have played with all of you or against you. I think I was always against Jerry. He loved to bring in any partner and just win with him or her. He loved to raise his game. He would not let me into the Davis Cup league which was team tennis sort of but just men and they played singles and doubles. after 2 yr Jerry actually let me in with Jim. We won it, I guess so much for chauvinistic tennis. Now I am glad to say several women could also play Davis cup and very competitive.
Jerry you will be missed by all, you went out to win and always tried to promote tennis and build up new players. You will always be remembered and loved.

Condolence: Wendy, please accept Lynn and my deepest condolences. Jerry kept tennis alive in the are for many years. He often would not play in tournaments and leagues just to allow others a chance to win.
