DONNA J. SMITH, 76

EAST LIVERPOOL – Spruce Court resident Donna J. Smith passed away while at Covington Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in East Palestine at 7:10 p.m. Friday, July 13, 2018 following a brief illness. She was 76.

Donna was the only child to the late William Turner, and the late Hazel Altman Torrence. She was born on July 7, 1942 in East Liverpool and was a 1960 graduate of East Liverpool High School.

She retired in 2007 from the clay shop of Homer Laughlin China as a sorter. Donna enjoyed camping, reading and volunteering at the Clothes Closet at the 1st Nazarene Church, but to all who knew her she enjoyed nothing more than the time she spent with her husband, sons and grandkids.

Donna is survived by her husband Mathias N. “Dave” Smith, and her two sons, David Smith, and his wife Keri, of East Liverpool, and Jamie Smith, and his wife Lisa, of Louisville, Ohio, as well as her three grandchildren, Nicolas, Ayden and Keaton Smith.

Donna’s care has been entrusted to the Dawson Funeral Home.
