Jacqueline Lee “Jackie” Dray, 87

YOUNGSTOWN – Jacqueline Lee “Jackie” Dray of Bell School Road in East Liverpool passed away Sunday, July 29, 2018 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was 87.

Born in East Liverpool, December 12, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Wanda McFarland Green and member of the East Liverpool High School Class of 1948.

Jackie worked as a secretary at the Beaver Creek State Park at one time and was a member of Longs Run Presbyterian Church. Jackie also enjoyed playing cards with her friends twice a month at Ponderosa and she was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling with her family.

Survivors include her husband Byron Dray, whom she married on September 13, 1949, a daughter Leigh Carman, and her husband Tom, of East Liverpool, and a son Scott Dray, and his wife Marsha, of Ravenna. There are three grandchildren, Jessica, Nathaniel and Winfield, as well as two great-grandchildren, Brian and Imogen.

Jackie is also survived by her sister, Barbara Bennett, and her husband Bill, of East Liverpool.

Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home on Wednesday August 1st where the family will be present from 12 to 1 p.m. Reverend Brian Nutt will conduct a funeral service at the funeral home on day at 1 p.m. on Wednesday.

Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
