Obituary for Edward D. Sisco

Edward D. Sisco, 76, of St. George Street passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 10:38 p.m.at Calcutta Health Care Center following a brief illness.
He was born October 28, 1941 in Shippingport, Pennsylvania. Edward had joined the Marines but due to a medical condition received an early discharge. Ed always considered himself a Marine. He attended Southside High School and lived in Rochester and later Aliquippa before moving to East Liverpool, OH where he resided with his sister Kathy for the last nine years.
Edward was preceeded in death by his father James Wesley Sisco and mother Katherine Louise Eichel Sisco Ludwick and stepfather Joseph Francis Ludwick
Also preceeding him in death were his siblings Walter, Adolph, Martin, Thomas (the first), William and infant boy Sisco and step brother Thomas Ludwick.
He is survived by his sisters Kathy Clark of East Liverpool, OH and Twylia Sisco of New Brighton, PA and brothers James (Lucy) Sisco of Mountain City, TN, and Thomas (the second) Sisco of Rogers, OH and step sisters Martha Huser of Hagerstown, MD, Mary Jane Olszewski of Millvale, PA, Betty Jean Ludwick of Green Castle, PA, Bonnie Ludwick and Connie Ludwick of Largo, MD and step brothers, Robert (Beth) Sisco of Hillsboro, OR and Ronald Ludwick of Grantham, NH. He is also survived by a multitude of nephews & nieces, great and great-great nephews and nieces.
We wish to thank the staff at Allegheny General Hospital and at Calcutta Health Care Center for the excellent care they gave him in his final days.
Per Edward’s wishes a private service was held at the Dawson Funeral Home, 215 West Fifth Street, East Liverpool.
