EAST LIVERPOOL – Mary Lou Flegas Cunningham, of East Liverpool, passed away suddenly Saturday, September 8, 2018. She was 86.

Born in Xenia, Ohio, May 23, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Osie Mae Hayes Flegas. A resident of this area most of her life, she worked as an operator at the former Ohio Bell Company. A member of the East Liverpool High School Class of 1950, she attended Emmanuel Presbyterian Church and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Cunningham as well as two sisters, Helen Anderson and Lenora Mae Flegas.

She is survived by a daughter Susan Hayes Walker of Marlboro, New York and a son Stephen M. Cunningham at home. There are 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She will also be sadly missed by her dog and cat.
