Services were held Wednesday for Cindy Yager, of LaCroft. She passed away Sunday, November 13, 2011 at the age of 56.
Born January 12, 1955, in East Liverpool, she was a daughter of Phyllis Swanson of Sun Lakes, Arizona, and the late Joseph J. Ross.
A lifetime area resident and a 1973 graduate of Beaver Local High School, she was a homemaker and a member of LaCroft Church of the Nazarene and its Caravan group.
She is survived by her husband, Herb Yager, at home.
Also surviving is a daughter, Karissa Whittington, of Lisbon; a son, Derrick Whittington and his wife, Ann, of Florida; a step-daughter, Beth Yager of Rushville, Ohio; and a step-son, Brian Yager and his wife, Nichole, of Coshocton, Ohio.
There are six grandchildren, Kylie, Nikki, Chelsea, Tala, Taylor and Blake.
Also surviving are a step-father, James Swanson of Sun Lakes, Arizona; a mother-in-law, Sara Hague of East Liverpool; a sister-in-law, Barbara Bowden and her husband, Robert, of Bolivar, Ohio; and two nieces, Rae Ann Bowden and Robin Bowden.
Erica Como, associate pastor of the church, conducted services at the Dawson Funeral Home and burial was at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
