Charlotte A. Yanni, 72, of Andrews Avenue, died early Wednesday morning, June 5, 2013 at East Liverpool City Hospital following a brief illness.

Born in East Liverpool, Ohio on September 11, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Mary Allen Kapp.

Mrs. Yanni retired from East Liverpool City Hospital where she was employed as a certified patient attendant in skilled nursing.

Survivors include a daughter, Cindy Stephens and her husband, Ray; two sons, Mark Yanni Sr. and Nickolis Yanni and his wife, Carol, all of East Liverpool.

Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, Donnie, Cortney, Mark II, Tosha, Sean, Nickolis II, Christopher; 4 step-grandchildren, Matt, Joe, Jessie and Teja along with 4 great grandchildren, Kaylee, Tyler, Conner and Braden.

A granddaughter, Casondra Nikole Yanni preceded her in death on July 28, 1990.

She is also survived by three sisters, Mary Lou Allison and her husband, William of East Liverpool, Beverly Heeren and her husband, Eric of Michigan and Paulette Boyd of Ravenna, Ohio.

Family and friends may visit from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Dawson Funeral Home.

Burial will take place in Riverview Cemetery at a later date.
