The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Thomas Riemenschneider can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Ted and Irene theodore

Dear Judy and Family, It is with deep sorrow that we send our condolences to you on the passing of your beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was a "giant of a man" in all that he did. Tom never let a day go by without utilizing every minute of it to pave the way for others to benefit from his knowledge and guidance. Tom was one of Baldwin-Wallace College's most outstanding students, alumni leaders, advocates and loyal supporters. His creative genius as an educator, administrator and visionary continue to inspire all who have been touched by him and the legacy of his dynamic family. When Dr. Neal Malicky asked me to consider the creation of a Family Heritage Award it was quite simple for us to select the Riemenschneider-Marting families as its first honorees. The impact of each and every BW family member has continued to uphold the high degree of loyalty and love to the institution as its forefathers had. Tom was one of our brightest stars in this constellation. We all will miss his smile, his enthusiasm and his constant positive demeanor. May his memory be eternal. Irene and Ted Theodore (BW Alumni Director, Emeritus)
