The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Obituary for Nikki Stockdale (Graham)

Nikki Stockdale, 67, formerly of Main Street, and more recently of the Nentwick Convalescent Center, died Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at the East Liverpool City Hospital following a sudden illness.

Born May 23, 1946 in Buffalo, NY, she was a daughter of the late Mary Louise Higgins Graham, and Jay Graham who survives her in Florida.

Nikki attended Glenmoor Wesleyan Holiness Church, and spent a large part of her life traveling to and working in Christian Missions where she could help those less fortunate and in need. She had also done secretarial work and was involved in Senior Links, Golden Links, and the YMCA.

Preceding her in death on January 3, 2003 was her husband, Gene L. Stockdale, whom she married on October 29, 1977; and one son, Rick Rayburn on August 3, 2010.

She leaves behind a son, Jon Rayburn and his wife, Becky, of Harpers Ferry, WV, and four grandchildren. There is also a sister, Lisa Weimer and her husband, Rick, of Titusville, FL, as well as five brothers: Bob Graham of Gilmer, TX; Tom Graham and his wife, Carmalee, of Mims, FL; Jamie Graham of Titusville; Jeff Graham of Newport News, VA; and Jody Graham, also of Titusville.

Friends may visit the family from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial services which will be held at the Dawson Funeral Home at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2014. The Rev. Paul Duncan of the church will officiate.

Burial will take place at Hammondsville Cemetery.
