Obituary for Jill F Vasil (Sanford)
Jill F. Vasil passed away at her home on Main Street in Wellsville early Sunday morning, November 8, 2015. A daughter of the late Mary Taylor Sanford, Jill was born in East Liverpool on December 30, 1961. She was 53.
A lifetime area resident, Jill had been involved in Job’s Daughters at one time, and enjoyed being outdoors, playing the piano, listening to music, and watching sports of all kinds, especially volleyball.
She was raised in the First United Methodist Church in East Liverpool and was currently a member of Central United Methodist Church in Wellsville.
Surviving her are two daughters, Sarah Vasil of Grand Rapids, MN, and Katie Hedderman of Wellsville. There are also three grandchildren, Olivia, Noah and Wyatt Johnson, and a brother, Mark Sanford of Ohio.
In addition to her mother, Jill was preceded in death by another brother, Douglas Sanford.
Services will take place at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by the Dawson Funeral Home.
