Obituary for Tina Marie Jones (Pack)

Tina Marie Pack Jones, 54, peacefully passed away in the presence of her daughter and mother and other loved ones at 4:53 a.m. Thursday, March 22, 2018. She had battled poor health for some time, and was in the care of Mount Carmel East Hospital in Columbus at the time of her death.

She was born in Huntington, West Virginia on April 25, 1963, a beloved daughter of Ellie Smith Pack of East Liverpool and the late Edward Daniel Pack, Sr. A 1982 graduate of East Liverpool High School, she had resided in Columbus for most of her adult life and had worked in telecommunications until her illness.

Tina was a free spirit who loved life, and cherished her daughter and family. She enjoyed traveling and seeing the world, and always carried her adventurous spirit and her sense of humor with her wherever she went.

She was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church earlier in her life.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughter, Bria Lachey Williams, of Canfield. A brother, Edward “Eddie” Pack, Jr. and his wife, Helen, survive in East Liverpool. There is a niece, Jada Pack, and a nephew, Jason Pack, along with numerous cousins and many friends.

Tina will also be missed by her companion Marc Sloan, whose care and devotion of her will always be remembered and appreciated.

A celebration of her life will take place at Three Blessings on Saturday, May 5, 2018.
