HELEN CLUTTER, 85
LISBON – Helen Marie Clutter, of Glasgow Road, Lisbon, passed away Wednesday evening, May 9, 2018 at her residence while surrounded by her family. She was 85.
A daughter of the late Albert and Bertha Elsa Severin Prange, she was born in Grobauheim, Germany on September 1, 1932. Helen was a member of the Yellow Creek Presbyterian Church, and was a homemaker who loved to cook and do her own yard work. Helen also loved to crochet.
In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in 2006 by her husband Charles W. Clutter, whom she married on February 13, 1962, her daughter Janet Marie Shafer, and two brothers, Ewald and Heinz Prange.
Surviving are her two grandsons, Charles Shafer (Ashlie), and Andrew Shafer (Jessica), all of Glasgow Road, Lisbon. Additional survivors include her great-grandson Talon Strickland, and her sister Inge Ramesh of Germany.
Friends may visit Tuesday afternoon and evening at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will take place at Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens.
